TİKA began its activities in Hungary in 2012, then expanded its activities in 2014 with the opening of its program coordination office in Budapest. In addition to cultural cooperation projects, TİKA's main areas of activity in the country are supporting social and administrative infrastructure and developing the capacity of educational services. TİKA also implements numerous projects aimed at preserving Hungary's common historical and cultural heritage and passing it on to future generations.
